The 17AM is automatically assembled, calibrated, and checked omn modem, customer-designed equipment.
Texas instruments orea has had traditional emphasis on quality. this is being reinforced by a corporate-widetrust
whitch reemphasizes the suppliers responsibility and integrates modem statistical techniques in to the production
and quality-assuranceprocesses.  As ongoing inputs to the qurality-monitoring systems, over 12 different checks
are made during the manufacturing  process.           Each 17AM temperature rating has a bimetal disc speciflcally
manufactured for that rating. Each device is then cali-brated and checked for opening tem-perature, this results in
optimum snap-acting open and reset characteristics necessary to achieve consistent perfor-mance over the
required cycle life.
